Phone screen followed by a technical interview with one of the team members. The technical interview was approximately 45 minutes, mainly focused on technical questions relating to my past projects, and then design technical questions based on the role on the team, which was heat transfer related.

Pros: Interns work as full-time engineers, and it really depends on how well you perform whether you take on more impactful projects.
Cons: It could be stressful. And even though it is a pro that Tesla is a place that is very achievement-oriented with no politics at all, it could get very robotic and toxic.
