I was very excited to begin a process with Tesla, but I have to say I ended up appreciating more the company I work for and was very disappointed in Tesla. This disappointment stemmed not only from the recruitment process but also from what I learned about the company during the interviews.
The HR representative I spoke to needs training, and this speaks poorly of Tesla. Their behavior was very amateur.
The feedback received was random, as it was about technical details I had never discussed in any of my interviews.
After finally receiving the rejection call, this person still asked if I could be contacted in the next few weeks. I believe this was a very bad attempt to end the phone call on a positive note instead of a negative one. This is a common HR technique, but it was horrendously executed, as it would leave the person hanging.
My CV clearly targeted a leadership position (the manager mentioned this in my interview), but I was still asked to complete the technical test (which the manager said should not have happened).
Nothing specific. Just about my experience and CV.
