Sometimes managers don't set clear expectations. It may just be that a lot of the managers are quite young and don't have experience themselves, but it can be frustrating at times.
Generally, there has not been a lot of bureaucracy, but it does exist, as do politics. Sometimes these get in the way of making smart decisions.
Salary is low compared to other companies in the Bay Area.
