Great talent.
Incredibly smart people.
Cutting-edge technology and projects.
Great exposure to several aspects of engineering.
Overloaded responsibilities. Constant pressure from aggressive and unrealistic timelines. Lot of shortcuts and improper engineering practices. Burning people out, resulting in shortest employee retention in the industry.
More bonding, empathy, and value for subordinates.
Courteous staff, very pleasant interview experience. It was a round-robin style, with a panel of 3 all at the same time at the end. Some interviewers were more casual and conversational, and some were very formal and structured.
The interview process was quick and pretty standard. It involved: * One call with HR. * Another with the hiring manager. * A third with the core team. Questions were basic and standard, based on the job responsibilities.
The interviewer introduced himself first and then asked me to do a quick self-introduction. I gave a slides presentation of my past projects. There were two technical questions at the end. You can google anything if you forget some of the equations
