Pros:
You get to work with very passionate people who are driven by mission and not profits. You're given a lot of responsibility and can have a lot of influence on the company.
While you have a lot of influence at the company, that comes with a lot of responsibility. You need to be aware that many people will lean on your work. There are pluses and minuses to that.
The interview process is very tedious, stressful, and not fun. 1. Recruiter interview 2. Online coding exam 3. Total of 3 telephonic interviews 4. Onsite interview: - 7 people (1-on-1) - 1 presentation (30 min)
Prior to the phone screen, there was a CoderPad assessment with slightly tricky questions. It wasn't too difficult if you know C inside out. This assessment was offline, where they gave you about 90 minutes to complete. It really only takes about 30
The entire interview consists of: * One take-home coding challenge, which should be quite easy if you're familiar with your language. In my case, it was C. * Two technical phone screens. * One panel interview.
