Very demanding. No work-life balance. Stressed-out employees. Working with others is called "handholding" by management

Pros

Work for companies that have a vision, dream about it even when asleep, and outperform your teammates. Be ready to put your personal life at stake. Then this is a place for you to work.

Cons
  • Outperform your colleagues or move out.
  • Very gross work culture. Outperform, get promoted fast, or get fired fast. Everything is too fast.
  • If you need time to set your personal life or care for your kids, then either the relationship or the job will be doomed soon. Beware of that and make your call.
  • The CEO lashes out and fires people every single day. Be okay with hearing layoff news every day and be part of a layoff if needed, based on the CEO's whims.
Advice to Management

Be more considerate about employees and their personal lives. If employees don’t want ex-employees to bad review the company, then newest and brightest minds won’t shy away from working for this company. This advice is obviously not going to change anything, knowing how demanding the CEO is.
