Pros

Work-life balance.

Much resources and management support if you have the right ideas.

Cons
  • Lack of leadership, lots of "yes men", following an abrasive CEO.
  • Weak strategy, or none at all, demotivates people.
  • Hard to be proud.
Advice to Management
  • Find the root cause of strategy failure rather than blaming market conditions.
  • Pay more attention to grassroots concerns and ideas; listening to your staff managers is not enough.
  • Do not reward, or even demote, leaders that contaminate the organization with YES culture. The best bad example is the CEO.
