Many great benefits.
Love the on-site gym.
Very involved with volunteering for great causes (Breast Cancer Awareness, JDRF, United Way, etc.).
It is not easy moving roles to gain more experience in certain areas. They'll tell you in the beginning that TI is such a big company and it is fairly easy to rotate within the company, but they fail to mention that it is very discipline-based.
You will succeed if you are an Electrical/Computer Engineer. You're lucky if you are able to move up with any other "related" degree.
It's all about who you know.
Provide more opportunities for growth in diverse areas within the company. The lack of and hardship in applying to other roles causes an employee to remain in a position they don't feel fit for.
I went through 3 over-the-phone interviews. Then I went out to their HQ in Dallas. There were 2 interviews, each a little longer than an hour. Each time, I gave a presentation on a project that I had designed, then answered a few general questions
Was hired as an NCG. Mostly focused on my thesis and analog questions. Was contacted by a college recruiter. People are friendly and basically ask what is on your resume and about your basic understanding of analog.
Simple and easy interview. Talked with 3 groups and they were very nice and friendly. They also provided lunch and reserved a hotel room, so it was a pleasant experience.
