Pros

Smart, hard workers can be rewarded with more responsibilities and higher pay.

Also, there are so many different groups within the company; it is fairly easy to move around if the current position is not ideal.

Cons

Like any large company, you occasionally bang your head against the wall when trying to achieve goals with different approaches than the norm of the machine. Politics come into play more than necessary.

Advice to Management

Find a way to make the best decisions for the overall project rather than constantly navigating the political waters and pitching the stories that best preserve personal career paths.
