Pros
  • A good work/life balance is encouraged.
  • Extremely flexible work hours.
  • Internship wasn't canceled due to COVID-19; it went virtual instead.
  • Received back pay for the two-week delay in my internship start date.
  • Still received relocation and returning-intern bonuses. Still received the originally agreed-upon salary.
  • Remote work went surprisingly smoothly.
  • Relatively diverse workforce. A good amount of women in engineering. Never felt dismissed for being female.
  • Company stresses that it is very easy to change roles and that you will never be stuck somewhere you don't like.
Cons
  • It's still a large company, so there's still going to be the associated bureaucracy (though, this is tolerable and doesn't outweigh the pros in my opinion).
  • No real complaints with the company as a whole. They have treated me well, and I enjoyed working there.
