Pros

TI sponsors employees with a PhD degree to get green cards via EB1.

It takes at most one year to get a green card.

Cons

There are too many politics in TI. Your review and promotion depend on your relationship with your manager rather than your performance. Many talented people have left TI.

My manager didn't show up in any group meeting. He just got in touch with one or two people in the group to get to know the situation of the project.

Advice to Management

The quality of TI mid-level management is terrible. Some managers provide no help in your career and just use reviews as a means to show their power.
