My main pro is how great the internship program was. I made some great friends I'm still very close with, and it seemed like a really great community, even into full-time employment. Headquarters was an awesome place to work at, as far as in-person benefits go. The cafeteria had great food, I worked in their outdoor courtyard frequently, and the gym (especially the lap pool) was very nice. I liked that we got to have small-group one-on-ones with upper management and had a final presentation at the end of the summer to demo the work we had done.
I personally didn't love the project I was on because I was testing the waters with working for a hardware company. With a computer science or software engineering degree, I found that there isn't a lot of work for coding-heavy projects, and hardware was not an interest of mine.
I recommend TI engineering internships and full-time roles to those with an Electrical or Computer Hardware background.
The first interview was with the HR General Manager. It went very well; there were no technical questions, just inquiries about my career goals, the type of position I would like to get once hired, and, most importantly, to rewrite my resume and expl
Straightforward interview. Focused on experience on projects I have done to steer the interview. Interviewers were professional and asked both technical and behavioral questions based on what was on my resume.
Asked a lot of behavior questions based on resume: * Favorite project * Least favorite project * Internship * Obstacles * Accomplishment most proud of * How to succeed * 5-year career plan * What area of tech you think is challenging * Why apply to
