It was a friendly interview process. I got the call from a reference. They called me up to the office and I had a face-to-face round. The questions were grounded in basics and were related to internet domains. They gave me one simple puzzle and asked me to write a method for the same. The overall interview process was good.

New technology trends are taken seriously. Occasionally late to the party, but they do show up.
Cons: Leadership seems to not know whether it's coming or going.
Budgetary infighting, leading to surprise, last-minute major cuts and realignment.
Poor interdepartmental communication, leading to operations and systems desynchronization.
Lack of trust, leading to ever increasing levels of pointless bureaucracy.
Contractors are highly expendable; they will use you as "flex" and are aggressively outsourcing.
