Software Engineering Apprentice Interview Experience

Process

Received a phone screen that was pretty standard. I was told I was a good candidate for the position and that I would hear back soon about when my next interview would take place.

Two weeks later, I hadn't heard back, so I reached out to the recruiter. She told me to be patient and that she would have more info soon.

Two more weeks passed, and I got a generic email saying they went with another candidate.

Horribly unprofessional and time-wasting experience.
