The Security Operations Center is full of nice, smart, dedicated people.
The company does a lot to help associates grow their knowledge and skills.
Home Depot is slow to hire contractors. I talked with a number of contractors that have been with the company for years. Many perks are withheld from contractors, including education resources.
I felt a strong "be seen at your desk" predilection.
Contractors didn't appear to be part of the standard performance review system, which may be part of the reason that contractors are not quickly hired.
Long-term contractors should be less common.
