Pros

Working for one of the only prestigious news orgs left. Big office. Looks good on a resume.

Cons

An unreasonable management is at odds with the tech union.

This makes for major morale issues.

All positions are underpaid compared to others in the industry, but management refuses to pay competitive compensation or benefits.

There is also a major shift to return to office, with 2 days a week and 3+ indicated in the future.

Advice to Management

You’re more than a news org at this point. You’re a tech company, too. Stop the greed and compensate your workers fairly. They keep the lights on.
