Data Engineer Interview Experience - Sydney, Australia
Process
Initially, there was a 30-minute talk over the phone with HR. Then, a 60-minute screen share with a team member followed.
This interview included experience-based questions, technical questions, SQL coding, and coding in any language.
After that, I have not received any update yet for about one week.
The organization of the interview was completely chaotic:
- The organizer was from the US.
- The position was in Australia.
- The interviewer was from Singapore.
- Everyone used different time zones.
The first HR call was shared with the wrong meeting bridge. The interviewer did not show up for the second technical call and had to be rescheduled.
The organizer did not reply to my email for several days when the interview no-show occurred.
