This is a phone screen. After I chatted with the recruiter, they arranged the first round of the interview. It's a one-hour interview including:
- Resume deep dive (20 mins)
- Coding (20 mins)
- ML basics (15 mins)
Questions
The process started with resume deep dive questions. The interviewer asked for details about past implementations. Then there was a coding question: Min Stack. Afterward, they asked some basic questions about a neural network: batch norm, dropout, and layer norm. Finally, there was a question on gradient descent.
