Pros: Pay is great and office perks are top-tier.

Cons: Culture is horrible and will drain your soul.

Pros: It's good for the lazy guys.

Cons: Maybe there is nothing.

Pros: No pros... maybe free food.

Cons: Too many cons, especially for engineering teams. 99% of the company is Chinese and can't even speak English. It's hard to get along with people there because they only speak Chinese. And because of that, the work culture sucks too. Sometimes working from 9 am to 2 am for a couple of weeks only to have the manager say crap like, "Trying your best isn't enough. You still have to finish on time." There is no work-life balance at TikTok as a software engineer, maybe just the Ads team, but yeah. That's the worst.
