   • Solve algorithms with prompts along the way to discuss different approaches to data structures, etc., that could be used.
   • Problems encountered due to communication barrier.

I was tasked with solving a medium-level algorithm problem, and the interviewer frequently asked questions about alternative approaches. My primary challenge was understanding the interviewer due to their heavy accent. This resulted in me repeatedly asking them to repeat their questions, which consumed valuable time and created a tense atmosphere. Ultimately, I solved the problem, but the interviewer seemed frustrated that I didn't follow their suggested method. Unfortunately, I couldn't understand their prompts clearly. This situation may have made it appear that I was not cooperative. Perhaps I should have interrupted the interviewer, but this individual was a key team member for the role.
