Aced OA. Then, a recruiter sent me an email to schedule my availability. I sent my availability, and they told me the interviewers were from China, so the interview had to be after 6 PM. I didn’t have a problem with that; it was okay. After I did my interview, they told me I had moved to the next steps and that another recruiter was assigned to me.

So, the new recruiter sent me an email to send him my availability. After I sent my availability, he ghosted me for two weeks. I sent multiple follow-ups, but he was not responding. At this point, I just gave up and didn’t send him any more emails (I sent almost 7 follow-ups).

But three weeks after receiving the email that I had moved forward, they sent a rejection letter which said the position was filled. Like, what do you mean 'filled'!

This was the worst interaction with a recruiter that I have ever had. Please watch how you treat candidates, TikTok/Bytedance.
