Software Engineer (SWE II)
The process was two rounds of technical interviews and a technical assessment. You must write runnable code, and you may need to optimise from brute force. The focus was mainly on Data Structures & Algorithms, clean coding, and edge case handling.
Backend Engineer
The interviewer was nice, and the questions were not too difficult. The questions included my understanding of data structures and a LeetCode medium programming test. It was a quite nice interview experience. The interview lasted for one hour.
Software Engineer
3 tech interviews - 2 + 1. I was only rejected after the final round of the hiring manager interview for being "not senior enough". One PRC friend of mine jokingly said that maybe I was just not Chinese enough.
