The interview process consisted of three rounds, but I only made it to the second.
I applied through the company website and was contacted by a recruiter.
The initial phone call went very well. The recruiter was respectful and easy to talk to. The conversation covered my background, the company, and the position's requirements and benefits.
The second round was an Android-focused live coding session in CoderPad (or a similar platform like HackerRank) with the hiring manager and an Android developer. I was asked to pull hypothetical data from a hypothetical API and present it on the screen. I believe they were likely looking for my explanation of how I would set it up, but I went straight into coding, which is always a mistake.
I did not proceed to a third round. I would have appreciated some feedback but received the general "thanks for your interest" email.
