Pros: Extremely talented and passionate people, who you'll be working with at the company. Perks such as free lunch every day of the week and an office gym are fantastic too.

Cons: In my opinion, there is a high degree of power distance at the company that management should address.

Pros: There is a relaxed dress code, beer, and ping pong. And all of those things seemed great during my initial interview. But these things are standard these days at technical companies. After my first three months, I was no longer wowed.

Cons: Pay raises are minimal at best and provide a lack of future earning ability. Employees seem to get pigeonholed into tasks with little to no opportunity to grow out of them or pursue new interests. This also makes advancement extremely difficult; most employees have to leave to grow in their careers. Lack any sort of mission or vision. It feels like we want to be TripAdvisor, but are far from it.

Pros: TripAdvisor takes care of its employees very well. It provides free lunches, very good health care, fitness support, opportunities to help other people, and organizes events to socialize. TripAdvisor's office location is central. It's very close to both Pearse and Docklands train stations. The company helps career growth with books and technical talks. It also supports employees to go to conferences. The free snacks in the kitchen are wonderful. Keep up the good work.

Cons: I think the concern for at least engineering is the dwindling number of engineers. When I started, there were almost 35 engineers, and now we aren't even half of that.
