Software Engineer Interview Experience - Newton, Massachusetts

Process

The process began with an email from them, followed by a brief 10-minute phone call with one of their recruiters. After the call, they scheduled a technical phone screen.

The technical phone screen lasted approximately 30 minutes. Most of this time was dedicated to writing code in an online text editor.

Shortly after the phone screen, I was invited for an in-person interview. This interview lasted between 4 to 5 hours, during which I met with four different people one-on-one. Almost every interviewer asked me technical questions and had me write code on a whiteboard.

Afterward, the recruiter informed me of their interest, and I left feeling confident about receiving an offer. (An offer was not extended on the spot).

The only minor inconvenience was occasional waiting periods between meetings, but it was not a significant issue.

Questions

Many questions about data structures and algorithms. You have to write code/answers on a whiteboard. Also, a few questions were Java specific. (Not going to share exact questions to prevent "cheating").
