Software Engineer Interview Experience

Process

I attended the career fair, where I had a brief technical screening. Later that day, I received a call for an on-campus interview.

The campus fair interview was basic, focusing on my background and some fundamental caching techniques.

The on-campus interview lasted 45 minutes and included a couple of questions. Some of these were database-related, while others involved writing a program for breadth-first search.

Questions

Q1. The difference between Depth First Search and Breadth First Search.

Q2. Which of the two is better as far as performance and space constraints go?

Q3. Implement Breadth First Search.
