Great people, but upper management is a bit disorganized
Software Engineer • Former Employee
Needham, Massachusetts, United States
May 18, 2020
Pros: It's my first job out of school. Some of the best engineering talent I have seen!
Gym, nice lunch.
Cons: The upper management seems a bit disorganized and does not seem too passionate about technologies and the engineering side of things as an internet company.

Great culture, fun intern program
Software Engineer, Commerce • Former Employee
Needham, Massachusetts, United States
October 25, 2016
Pros: They clearly went out of their way to make the internship program a fun experience.
There were multiple outings to see the city and do community service, along with an internal hackathon where we got to work on self-directed group projects for a week.
Great food every day at lunch, snacks on every floor -- like working in a startup, except with job security and 1500 other people.
Cons: As an intern, I felt a little undermanaged. They had a "buddy" program to match each intern with a mentor, but there weren't any explicit requirements of what that mentor did (or there didn't seem to be). I would've appreciated getting more feedback about my work.

Pros: - Great culture: The flat structure is truly implemented.
- Smart people: A great set of people who really care about what they are doing.
- Great perks: Apart from free lunches, loads of things to make it easier for you to handle life! Very thoughtful!
Cons: You will not be able to leave. (I have been interviewing and getting monetarily better offers, but still haven't found a place that feels better. Hence, I haven't left!)
