Process
The interview process consists of three parts:
- A coding assignment that needs to be solved and sent in 7 days.
- An interview with HR and developers.
- A second interview with the product manager and development lead.
The coding assignment is intermediate, and both simpler and more complex solutions are possible.
The first interview with HR is about company introduction, culture fit, and a tech interview with more practical questions and real-life examples. The second interview is an additional culture fit check and includes more theoretical and conceptual tech questions.
In general, I would rate the interview process at Trivago Leipzig as very good and professional.

Other than technical questions that I'm not entitled to disclose, there were more than a couple of questions regarding my knowledge about the company itself.
