I completed an easy HackerRank challenge, followed by an hour-long interview with the hiring manager. It was a tech deep dive, and I had the opportunity to learn about the team.

The interview went well. The hiring manager outlined my next steps at the end, which implied a positive outcome.

However, I never heard back.

After a week, I reached out to my recruiter but received no response.

This experience was absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional. I will not apply to this company again and will be sharing this experience whenever friends are job seeking. This field is too demanding to alienate engineers by not even having the courtesy to send an automated rejection email.
