I started with a HackerRank challenge, but I didn't receive much feedback on it. The process continued with a pair programming session, which seemed promising. The interviewer and I iteratively arrived at a solution, though there were communication issues. I believe the problem statement wasn't entirely clear.
After this, I had a few more interviews. One involved designing a distributed system. We worked on this iteratively as well, and everything looked good in the end. We went through it together, and it led to some very nice technical conversations.
The "people interviews," such as the Bar Raiser and Engineering Manager interviews, also went well.
Ultimately, I was rejected without any feedback. I asked for feedback afterwards, and after investing 4-5 hours of my time, I was told I didn't have the "experience" requested. I followed up a couple of days later asking again if any feedback could be provided, but received no response. I'm quite disappointed about that.
Pairing on a problem in HackerRank where I had to fill some methods. It was about sending some SMS messages.
