Software Engineer Interview Experience - San Francisco, California

Process

I applied online and my application was flagged for referral by an existing employee. This referral green-lighted my resume through the hiring process.

Initially, I had a phone screen with an engineer on the team I applied for. This interview involved live coding through CoderPad.

The second round consisted of two back-to-back phone screens:

  • One with the manager and one with the engineering manager.
  • One of these interviews used CoderPad, while the other was a technical discussion of my resume.

The last round was an onsite interview at the HQ with more members of the team.
