Android Senior Software Engineer Interview Experience - Bengaluru, Karnataka

Process

6 rounds of interview over 45 days. Worst interview process, plus questions were basic; none of their engineers were close to B at Android. One day they said, 'We will want to have bar raiser.' Then I asked, 'This will be my 7th round?' And in hindsight, HR was thinking that this will be my 5th round (obviously, how can they remember things over the last 2 months

). So they went back to interviewers and said, 'Sorry, feedback wasn't positive. If it's not positive, how come they can go ahead in the process?' As an interviewer, how can I remember some X candidate who has appeared some 2 months back, with HR also not aware of the number of rounds? The process is so vague. If someone wants to appear, go ahead and tell them all of my interviews has to be scheduled in one or two days. Interviews will generally start at 7:00 a.m., so you should sleep properly. Interviews will be basic only, so don't hassle too much.
