Initially, the selection process seemed interesting, but some things got out of hand.

I participated in a 4-hour dynamics session with professionals from various sectors. Two specific moments were disappointing, in my opinion:

• Hands-on Coding: The interviewer mentioned at the beginning that we would talk for 15 minutes and I would have 45 minutes to solve the technical challenge with Pair Programming. However, he didn't manage the time and, when he realized, I only had 25 minutes to complete the challenge. He gave me the freedom to use any language I wished, so I chose Java. Since it wasn't the interviewer's preferred language, he made fun of the platform, the syntax, and other characteristics in general.
• Interview with SFO team: I was interviewed by two members of the SFO team (one of them Brazilian, by the way). They gave me a data structure challenge and the freedom to write a "pseudo-language" on a whiteboard, focusing more on the algorithm's solution than on the syntax itself.

I was disqualified without a clear reason as to where the errors were. I requested it by email and, a few weeks later, I received the reasons:

• I did not finish the challenge on time (I had 20 minutes less to do it).
• I did not write using a specific language syntax (however, I was induced to write with pseudo-language).

The process was good for learning and also for concluding that I do not want to work at this company.
