Hardware Engineer In Test Interview Experience - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

August 1, 2016
Positive ExperienceNo Offer

Process

I spoke with a hiring manager, then had a phone interview with another hiring manager, and was then given a take-home exam. The hardest part was the take-home exam, which tested my knowledge of software testing and overall hardware verification and validation concepts.

Solutions needed to include:

  • A set of testable requirements for a given imaginary product
  • High-level software design
  • A set of tests to verify and validate the design

Questions

The phone interview questions were very high-level and mostly focused on past experience.
