Process
The interview process included one technical phone interview and one onsite interview.
The phone interview consisted of iOS basics and implementing a notification center.
The onsite interview was a full day:
- The first interview involved writing an app that displayed searched images, with just over an hour to complete it.
- There was an algorithms interview.
- A data structures interview was conducted.
- Finally, an iOS app architecture interview took place.
It was quite draining; by the last interview, I was mentally exhausted.

Pros: Cornershop is a really diverse company with different countries.
Their culture is great; it prioritizes the well-being of its employees. Recently, they've added 4-day working weeks from October until December, and it was awesome.
I wish more companies realized that working hours aren't equal to efficiency. More power for companies like that.
Cons: Now that Uber has just bought this company, it is sort of uncertain what's going to happen.

Pros: 1. You get to work in a problem-solving environment.
2. You get to work with the best minds in the industry. The friendly, competitive environment pushes you to get the job done with your best efforts.
3. Compensation is very good.
4. You get a lot of learning opportunities to grow quickly.
Cons: Work-life balance can be bad for some people. But it depends on what is considered a good work-life balance for someone. For me, work-life balance is good, as I have been in the industry for 2 years and I want to grow myself quickly.
