After submitting my resume, I was selected for a first interview. I scheduled an appointment, spent hours preparing, and took time off work for the interview.
Ten minutes into the scheduled time, I emailed the hiring manager because I hadn't received a call. She immediately emailed back, letting me know they had decided to hire someone else. It was totally inexcusable.
