Process
The interview process consisted of 6 rounds:
- Coding a small iOS app with clean architecture (take-home)
- Design round (video call)
- Problem-solving (on-site, Hyderabad)
- Bar raiser (on-site, Hyderabad)
- Culture fitment (on-site, Hyderabad)
- Behavioral (video call)
The questions were good, but there were no iOS developers to assess iOS skills directly. The questions were generic, with a significant emphasis on team management and behavioral aspects. I expected Uber's interviews to be more technical. Overall, it was an okay experience. The HR representative was extremely helpful.
Tip: Take pointers from HR regarding the different interview rounds before and after. They want you to succeed.
