One of the longest interviews I have ever seen, and that too without any result.

Uber contacted me on July 7, 2020, for a Senior Software Engineer position. Just to give a glimpse of how long the interview process was, my first round was on August 25, 2020, and the last round was on September 29, 2020.

In total, there were 6 rounds (all over Zoom due to the pandemic):

• Technical screening (a code challenge to make sure you can write code)
• DS & Algo coding round
• JS coding round
• System design round
• Hiring manager round
• Bar raiser

According to the recruiter, I had cleared all the rounds. Even the Hiring Manager and Bar Raiser panel had good feedback, but they still asked me to go through one more technical round (JS round), which I did. Since then, I am just waiting for my result. The recruiter has even stopped responding to my emails.

My only question to the Uber team is: Even after clearing all the rounds, why does the company still not have an answer?
