HR contacted me over LinkedIn and scheduled a Zoom call.
I asked her to schedule the next technical round at her convenience, and I said that I would make myself available. She scheduled it for a week later.
She sent an email confirming that the first round was cleared.
Again, I was okay with scheduling at her preferred time. She scheduled it for 15 days later. I solved most of the problems in CodeSignal in the meantime. The interview was canceled at the last minute.
Again, she scheduled a slot for 15 more days later. It was canceled again.
By that time, I had received another offer. My last working day at my current organization was also approaching. I requested if we could move the process along faster.
This time, she scheduled the interview within a week. The interview went well. I could solve the problems in the most efficient way. The interviewer appreciated my performance and also asked if two rounds were pending or only one.
After a week, I sent an email to HR asking if there was any positive feedback, as my last working day was very near. I received no response.
I sent another email after 4 days, asking for the feedback on the second round. She said she would collect the feedback and respond to me. She took a day and responded that other candidates performed better.
It was a total disappointment to not know the valid reason for rejection.
