After the phone screen, about two days passed before I received the rejection email from HR. The whole process was very fast and efficient.

Pros: Great pay with smart teammates if you're in the right organization. There is still a hint of the old engineering culture, but many have since left.
Cons: Lots of dishonest middle management and empire building. Lots of engineers who are overpaid to know nothing but copy-paste code.
Uber is a political organization, not an engineering one. You do not work here to learn or advance your career. You come here to pretend to do work.
