I was in Pittsburgh for an interview.
After a phone interview with HR, where we briefly discussed my background, I was scheduled for an onsite interview.
Both interviews were technical and each took one hour.
Questions
The first round will have 3 coding questions.
The second round will cover background knowledge.

Pros: Smartest and most passionate people. Everyone in the team is excited about the impact and opportunity. People believe Uber is changing the way people live. This is the kind of work that, every morning when you wake up, you feel like your achievement will be rewarded and you are proud of what you are doing.
Cons: Since the company is on a huge growth path, the office is getting crowded. The working environment is very stylish, and there is already a plan to expand the office space.

Pros: If I didn't work here and I knew what kind of work was going on at Uber, I would be pretty sad.
There is a ton of opportunity. There is a lot to learn. There is a lot to build. There is a lot to celebrate. I really can't think of another place I'd like to be.
Cons: As we grow at our crazy rate, we encounter problems.
It is up to us to step up and fix those problems.
