Pros: Working at Uber is really fun and rewarding.
It's a very organized environment, with clear projects and outcomes. All projects go through ideation, execution, and result measuring, which clearly shows how your work has an impact on the overall business.
Colleagues are, in general, friendly and very competent. Code is held to a high standard, and we are expected to do what's right, not what's quick. Long-term velocity is prioritized over short-term gains.
Cons: Sometimes it may seem a bit too bureaucratic, as we need to document our work well. Not as fast as a startup anymore.
