You can choose your hours however you please. As soon as you wish to begin work, you just open the app and press start. When you are done, just press stop on the app. The app is easy to use and has navigation integrated, which is decent, but Google Maps is better. People do tip occasionally, but this is not consistent, of course. It's a very easy job: just pick up the food, drive to an address, and drop off. You get paid. In smaller cities, there is a higher abundance of trips for a driver.
In bigger cities, surprisingly, there isn't enough orders for all the drivers. So, a lot of the time, drivers get 1 or 2 trips an hour and spend the majority of the time waiting. A trip is worth £2.70 minimum, roughly, and most of the time, trips go up to only £6. Doing 1 or 2 trips an hour is therefore not worth it, provided the cost of fuel and the general hourly pay. Restaurants don't always have the food ready, so they waste your time. Customers don't always open the door quickly and can make you wait 5 to 10 minutes.
Recruit such that every driver can constantly have trips available. Do not over-recruit, as it leaves a lot of drivers disappointed.
