Machine Learning Engineer Interview Experience - Turkey

Process

I think the system design part of the interview was a bit vague. Questions were asked too ambiguously, and I drifted away from the solution. I did not get any online coding assessment during any of the 5+ interviews, which was a bit weird for my taste.

I was only asked to review a piece of Python code in one of the interviews, which I think does not really prove any computer science knowledge of the candidate. I applied for a Machine Learning Engineer position, but every single person that interviewed me was from the Data Science department. So, most of the questions were related to the data part of the machine learning pipeline. Therefore, I think the relevant job title must be Data Science Engineer. At least, that was how I felt.
