The hiring process was straightforward: HR communication, then a screening phone interview, then an on-site interview.
The screening phone interview consisted of common interview questions, basic web development questions, and also included some collaborative coding and design questions in a Google Doc.
The on-site interview expanded further, with 4-5 technical interviews in a row. They consisted of architecture design, code exercises, database questions, common interview questions, and other whiteboard-based questions. It was a very thorough process where they really tested your knowledge and ability to work with them on solving problems.
If a person preps just by going through CTCI, they are going to have a very hard time with this interview process, as standard questions aren't as focused.
None of the questions were super difficult, as long as a person understands core web development concepts and can problem-solve. Most of them were open-ended questions, really focused on the thought process and iteration.
