Extremely horrible interview experience.
The interviewer just pasted a LeetCode link in the chat and asked me to solve it. They did not help in clarifying the queries I had. Before writing the code, I informed them about my approach, but again, no interest was shown.
After writing the working code, they started giving me a lot of inputs, and all of them were working. I think this hurt their ego, as they could not break my code. Then, they Googled the inputs, pasted them, and again, all of them worked. Lol!
Then, they came up with some special cases that could have been solved by adding a simple if statement. Instead, they started demeaning me, saying I don't know anything and that I kept asking them for clarifications like a junior, in a very sarcastic tone.
(Mind you, I solved the problem in 10 minutes.) Again, lol!
I politely informed them that I would not be able to continue the interview with a person who does not have a basic sense of decency. With their permission, I dropped off.
Medium Array Question from LeetCode.
Hint: LeetCode Problem 58.
