Backend Developer Interview Experience - Canada

Positive ExperienceGot Offer

Process

A very honest process. They told me from the beginning what to expect, and compensation-wise, there were no surprises at the end because it was discussed during the first HR call.

I had:

  • A 1-hour call with the manager.
  • A 2-3 hour take-home project.
  • A 30-minute call to discuss the project.
  • A 1-hour design discussion.
  • A 1-hour behavioral call.
  • A 30-minute call with the Chief of Engineering as a formality.

Questions

The interview included classic behavioral questions, and the take-home project was about APIs.
