Pros

Competitive salary, comparing against local companies, not so much if you compare against similarly sized international companies. Exciting projects if you're in the right team.

Unity is still building cool products from scratch, and most people seem to be working on building new products compared to maintaining/supporting old ones. Great WLB if you want.

I've seen tons of people who do very little work and are still in the company after years.

Cons

The direction the company is going to go in the next six months is always unknown. Leadership talks about pivoting like we were a small startup. Constant re-orgs.

Three big layoff rounds in the past year. Career progression is only up to your manager liking you, and senior directors need to approve every candidate going for a promotion.

Advice to Management

Stick to what we are good at. Invest in projects until they are proven to fail, not until your gut feeling changes. Make promotion applications non-dependant on managers. Promo panels should decide.
