I applied online. The process took 2 weeks.

Recruiter screening call, interview with hiring manager, live coding interview, systems design interview, and then I believe behavioral is the last one.

Overall I had a positive experience though I did not receive an offer. The React interview was very fair and thoughtfully setup. Unfortunately I did not do well here because I did not have the syntax memorized at the time though I understood what needed to be accomplished. The interviewer was very kind, patient and professional. My only complaint was that the code included TypeScript which was not mentioned at all in the job description and I was told beforehand would be optional.

The systems design interview was odd. The interviewer did not provide any instructions for the goal of the session so I had to ask a lot of questions to try and deduce what he wanted. I started with a high level solution but when I offered or tried to dive deeper he would steer me to a different high level topic. As a result the solution stayed high level throughout the entire session. Later, I received interview feedback that I did not go deep enough during the interview which left me feeling very confused and at minimum there was certainly a communication breakdown with the interviewer. He was nice enough but didn't offer any guidance or feedback during the interview.

You have to sign an NDA before meeting with the hiring manager though I'm unsure why — nothing was disclosed that you couldn't find on their website.

Final note, I really appreciate that the recruiter was willing to provide feedback and is a big reason why I have an overall positive feeling about this company even though I didn't receive an offer. I would apply again in the future.
