• Recruiter reached out, saying my CV was an excellent fit and that my experience matched the role requirements.
• Recruiter joined the call a few minutes late and appeared disengaged—he immediately asked if I had any questions but did not walk through the role or responsibilities.
• I had to prompt for basic details about the position; answers were vague.
• The next day I was told I “didn’t have enough experience” for the role that supposedly matched my background.

I’m struggling to understand the logic: why contact (and praise) a candidate, skip the role overview, then reject for “lack of experience”? It felt like the screening criteria changed between outreach and interview.
